
Returning to the business in a senior leadership capacity, Rex Ritumalta brings a unique combination of deep category expertise, commercial acumen and a strong connection to the organisation. Firstly, what brought you back to the Group?
This company gave me my start in the industry. Having built on that foundation over the years, I wanted to bring that experience back to strengthen our capability and offering in the consumer electronics space. It’s a great opportunity to support the organisation that originally backed me, and to help drive our next phase of growth.
What excites you about the opportunity?
What excites me most is our hunger and drive for excellence, and the commitment to grow the business strategically. We are backing this growth with real investment in leadership, technology, and results-driven insights. For our tech brand partners, it means having the strategic depth and execution power they need to win in a highly competitive market, especially with increasingly savvy consumers. Our partnership will help them stay front of mind.
What has been your experience since re-joining?
It’s been seamless and incredibly energising. Reconnecting with the team and feeling that immediate camaraderie has been a huge highlight. What stands out is how aligned everyone is on delivering high-quality work, with a collective drive to make it happen.
What do you think clients value most?
In this market, it’s no longer enough to report that a display is up or a store was visited. Brands need to see a direct link to sales performance and a deeper understanding of their return. Insights bridge that gap. By pairing data and analytics with grassroots feedback and observation from the field, we can add meaningful context and perspective. This turns standard field activity into actionable insights, shifting the focus from ticking boxes to driving immediate and lasting results.
